Hong Kong Hiking Tour With Local
Sunset Peak, also known as Tai Tung Shan, ranks as the third highest peak in Hong Kong, located on Lantau Island within the Lantau South Country Park and Lantau North Country Park. It reaches an elevation of 869 meters above sea level.
The hike to the summit of Sunset Peak typically takes between 1 to 2 hours, offering stunning views of Lantau Island's coastline and fields of golden silver grass, especially visible from November to January during autumn and winter. The peak provides an ideal vantage point to witness a breathtaking sunset around 5:30-6pm.
Afterwards, a professional photography session lasting approximately 30-45 minutes will be offered. Following this, the descent will commence, aiming to return to Tung Chung Station by approximately 8:30pm.
