Day 2 - Genting Highland, Batu Caves & Snow World
After enjoying a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to Genting Highlands, a premier hill resort and holiday destination in Malaysia located 2,000 meters or about 6,000 feet above sea level. It is the only casino in Malaysia. Your driver will pick you up from hotel and take you to the cable car station for a skyway cable car ride. With the sky above you and the tropical rain forest below, you can ride to the top. The temperature ranges from 16 to 23°C all year round.
On the way to Genting, you will visit Batu Caves, a Hindu Temple located at the outskirt of Kuala Lumpur City. These limestone caves are 400 million years old. There is a total 272 steps leading up to the main caves temple. Batu Caves consists of three big caves. The wold's tallest Lord Muruga Statue with the height of 42.7m (130 feet high) is located here.
Genting Cable Car:
Touted as one of Southeast Asia’s longest and fastest cable car rides, the Genting Skyway stretches across 3.38 kilometres from Gohtong Jaya to Genting Highlands. A unique experience by itself, it is also a mode of transport and offers a smooth, convenient and safe ride across the resort city. On a clear day, you can catch breathtaking views of the rainforest and mountains.
Snow World:
Tired of the rides at the theme parks? How about visiting the winter wonderland at Snow World. With temperatures as low as -3° Celsius, you will almost forget about Malaysia’s hot and humid weather. Build your very own snowman, experience the thrilling Cresta Run snow slide or go ice skating. At Snow World, you and your family can do all this at any time of the year! And don’t forget to wear your woollens!
Later in the evening, board the coach and return back to your Hotel. Pack your bags to fly to Singapore next morning.
