— What You Can Expect —
[Amanohashidate Sightseeing Boat]
The sightseeing boat travels to both ends of the Amanohashidate sandbar in about 12 minutes. Enjoy the cruise while gazing at the pine trees and breathing in the pleasant sea breeze. You can also feed the seagulls while onboard for an unforgettable memory.
[Amanohashidate Kasamatsu Park]
Kasamatsu Park is on the northern side of Amanohashidate. It is well-loved by tourists for its panoramic view of the pine trees dividing Miyazu Bay and Asoumi Sea. At the park, tourists do the famous "Matanozoki" position, wherein you turn your back to Amanohashidate and bend over to view the amazing landform from between your legs. The unique view makes the trees look like a bridgeway to heaven.
[Nariaiji Temple]
From Kasamatsu Park, take the bus up the mountain road for about 7 minutes to go to Nariaiji Temple. The temple is known for its colorful flowers and greenery during the spring and fall. There are also other attractions around the temple for guests to enjoy.
