A 160-year-old wisteria tree and seasonal flowers can be enjoyed in the "Paradise of Flowers and Lights." In spring, more than 350 wisteria trees are in full bloom, including the great wisteria with a trellis measuring almost 2000 square meters, the 80-meter-long white wisteria tunnel, and the Kibana wisteria. Kurume azaleas, roses, clematises, rhododendrons, and irises are also in full bloom. In summer, hydrangeas and water lilies color the park. In autumn, 20,000 amethyst sages dye the grounds purple, and from mid-October to mid-February, the Garden of Illuminated Flowers, which has been certified as one of Japan's top three illuminations, is also a must-see. Ashikaga Flower Park will touch and excite you no matter when you visit.

ー Fuji no hana monogatari (tales of wisteria) ー

More than 350 wisteria trees are in full bloom, including a large wisteria trellis 160 years old and 1,000 m3 in area, an 80-meter-long white wisteria tunnel, and kibana wisteria.

The color of the flowers changes in the order of light red, purple, white, and yellow, and can be enjoyed for about a month.

ー Spring Rose Festival ー

From mid-May to mid-June, when roses are in bloom, the garden is filled with 2,500 brightly colored red, yellow, orange, blue, and white roses of 500 varieties.
