Full Day Routeburn Canyoning Adventure
Push yourself on a challenging canyoning tour through the UNESCO World Heritage Routeburn Canyon. As the only company with permission to canyon through the Routeburn Valley, adventurers will have access to remote wilderness areas that most never get to see. The day begins with a scenic drive along the Lake Wakatipu and into Mount Aspiring National Park’s Routeburn Valley. Once you've arrived it's time to get changed into your equipment and embark on a 30 minute walk through native forest on the renowned Routeburn Track for the beginning of the canyon adventure.
The exhilarating canyon experience kicks into full gear with an abseil, jumping into crystal clear pools, zip lining through bushland and navigating your way through narrow passageways. The full day canyoning tour is recommended for those with a strong level of fitness and swimming ability but the effort is rewarded with the natural beauty that you get to witness in Routeburn Valley and the well deserved picnic lunch in peaceful surrounds.
